And so we are back again, in hot and humid summer Hanoi, with three (now two!) more weeks to go until school starts again. But actually having a lot of fun, seeing "old" friends, going swimming and hanging out at home and in our little garden - that's got nothing to do with grannies' but is still cute.
Yesterday evening Keisuke and I even took up our weekly evening out without kids, went for a beer and some mi xao noodles on the street before attending a contemporary dance performance. Like "Vietnam goes experimental postmodern deconstructivism" or something. A bit meaningless (too advanced?) to me, but always worth it to get out of suburbia.
Back on my motorbike, cruising through rush hour Hanoi in the warm evening really felt like home!

Bye bye Sweden
Finally, holidays come to an end, we are back home in Hanoi again, but still with loads of wonderful, fresh memories of a loooooong summer on the Swedish West coast. Some say the Best coast.
Library time.
The Skåne tour. Aron, Kai, Gabriel and Adam in the forest.
"Look, I have so many friends", Kai said when we came home from one of our many tours visiting friends. "So many, many. I put them all on a boat." Thank you so much, all of you who made our summer great!
And, of course, above all, thanks to mormor and morfar who hosted us and all our stuff and chaos all summer long! We'll be back next year!

Shell beach, bubbles and berries
Just hanging out, at our favourite small beach in Läjet or in grannies garden blowing bubbles, playing with the neighbour's dog Jeppe, eating spökglass and fresh berries of all kinds, straight from the plant. Little else we do. Oh how great, again, endless summer holidays!

The bluest skies in Europe...
... have been with us all weekend. We did the northern tour and visited friends and family in both Kungsbacka and Göteborg, went to the beach and had bbq parties in the evening sun.
Crab fishing at Sandö island.
With Alma and Vilmer
Kai and "cousin" Theo playing at Hovås beach.

Midsummer
We also arrived just in time for the yearly Midsummer party at my friends Vicke and Matte's. Same people, same food, same games, same dances around the midsummer pole, same procedure as last year and a same huge amount of tremendous laughs.
